Hands, Margaret Mair, Original Art
Lend me your hands,
Let me give you mine;
For hands together
Created this world
And hands together
Will make it thrive.
Old hands, young hands
Tangled up in hope;
Soft and smooth,
Old and knobbled,
Young and growing,
Grown and strong,
Strong and dexterous,
Skilled in the making
And the holding,
The holding and the loving,
The loving and the care
Of the living,
Of their lives.
Lend me your hands,
Let us walk forth
Together.

A gorgeous poem and painting, Margaret. It speaks to the soul.
Thank you, Cynthia. It comes from mine.
