A Dream

Dream Bubble, M. Mair, original painting

Dream Bubble, Margaret Mair, original art

Let me gently rest
My weary limbs.
Then lift me up
And let me fly
On softest winds;
This calm bubble cradles
My vulnerable self
In its fragile womb
As my drifting thoughts
Glide on dreaming wings
Through wide blue sky
Past soft reflective clouds
And I gaze again at
All that I have seen,
All that I have been.
Diffuse light
Radiates through
Old blurred memories,
Illuminates sudden
New perceptions;
My perspective changes
With each glancing turn
Through the buoyant air
That holds me
So gently here.
