Healing

Healing, Margaret Mair, original art

The darkest night
Unveils
The most stars;
In our own
Dark times
We look toward
The gentle light
Of a hopeful star
Dreaming of better
Coming.
Longing,
We fall into
The golden heart
Of a lotus’
Warm red petals
And float there
Held peaceful
Above life’s
Muddy waters.
Struggling,
We find our
Falling selves
Suddenly suspended
In a web of hope
That holds us safe
Somewhere between
Blank darkness
And the blinding light
Of ecstasy.
We fear,
We hope,
We struggle,
We heal.

  1. ah, Margaret, these words, themselves, like the lotus:
floating, radiant, illuminated, every pointing to all and to a shining oneness…
    thankyou. xo
