The watery world
These faceless figures
Hug and hold,
Shield with bodies
Draped in garments
Green as
Fertile hills,
Yellow
As falling sunlight,
As sprouting daffodils
That welcome spring
Time, when
Hope comes dreaming
Of a flourishing future
Where loving care
Is enough
To keep
Our world
Alive and thriving.
