Sunshine Paintings, 2 – Friendship

Margaret Mair, Friendship, Original Art

Margaret Mair, Friendship, Original Art

The haiku:
An adventure starts
When a path gleams in sun’s rise
And a friend is there.

The thoughts:
Friends contemplate life together and share each other’s journeys.  Each day the rising sun signals a new start, a new chance to look forward, a new day to explore.  We need friends to share our wonderings and wanderings…

(It’s a small painting, like a note, created while thinking of Christmas time, the importance of sharing, and what was most important to share.  Like the love of friends.)

  1. So lovely, Margaret. Interesting perspective. Also, there is such mutual support indicated in the arms around waists and the way their heads lean to each other.

I’m glad you like it, Cynthia. I think there is much said by the way we move and stand, a language of the body that we all learn to read unconsciously. Of course that interests me…
